Does just hearing the word “ test” make the hairs on your arms stick up?  Does it make your heart beat so fast that you are certain that if you don’t get a chocolate IV ASAP the proctor will find you huddled on the floor clutching the ASL dictionary and EIPA prep materials for dear life??? If this is you, never fear, there is a way to survive the EIPA assessment, both written and performance.

Come and learn some helpful tricks and tips for slaying this test and being alive to talk about it afterwards! This 2 hour workshop in pre, during and post (yes, post) test taking strategies. Helpful hints about language selection, academic demeanor, prosody, fingerspelling, prediction skills, and more!

This workshop will be presented in English.

Participants will:

  • be able to identify 3 tools for easing test related anxiety
  • be able to list 5 pre, during and post test taking strategies
  • Identify personal triggers for test stress
