Unconscious biases are created and often reinforced by our environments and experiences. During this workshop, Corey Axelrod explores how potential individual and systematic biases impact Deaf consumers. Through Deaf lens, Corey defines ally behaviors and maps out opportunities for interpreters to identify unconscious biases and provide proactive and strategic support that will make a concrete difference in improving the lives of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.

This workshop will be conducted in ASL.
