This workshop about the Alexander Technique and its principles is designed for ASL interpreters and other professions which require extensive upper body movement.

You probably already recognize that interpreting can be an intense activity.  But this training well help you develop the anatomical awareness that you need while you work to reduce stress and strain on the body. Participants will explore not only which physical habits are harmful but also what causes these habits in the first place.  And every step of the way, personal hands-on assistance will be provided to help everyone reduce their stress, mentally and physically!
