Learn the process and how to take the necessary steps to get ready for interpreting theater from Shakespeare to modern plays from a master. Patrick will guide you from pre-play start up, all the way to the final production. You will be led through the steps of performing arts interpreting to to able to create a professional final product. This will include the approach of initial translation, understanding the content, team work, sharing from the dramaturge, how performing arts interpreting is different and use of conceptual accuracy. Patrick will use ideas from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s Interpreting group’s style and methods.
